Life Coaching
For an extra fee, personalized one-on-one Life Coaching and training is an optional service available for interns. Each intern receives their own custom tailored program according to their individual needs. Our intensive discipleship fosters and environment for a closer relationship in Christ.
Interdependent Living
Housing is provided through our Accountabillity Homes program. It is designed to provide support, encouragement, and accountability to young Christian adults who are committed to positive change and learning. Goals
The world we live in is a highly technological one and any business owner or employee is expected to have some degree of skill when it comes to computers and so forth. It is our goal to instill in our students, not only marketable skills, but also character and integrity.
Career Goals
It is our vision to wet the mental appetite of every student to desire higher education, commit to personal development and become a self-motivated individual. At the end of the internship term, each student will not only have acquired work ethics and work skills but most importantly, they will have learned to dream and believe for greater things as they believe in themselves.
Spiritual Goals
Students will be challenged to take responsibility for his/her own spiritual growth by actively and independently studying the Bible and praying, and eventually putting together bible studies and leading prayer/devotion. Also, students will complete a Spiritual Gifts test and learn to develop and walk in his/her gifting and compassion for others. They will be challenged to initiate serving in the church to implement their gifting and be an active part of the Body of Christ.
Character Goals
Students will be urged to develop and build upon the character traits. They will be encouraged to purpose to take initiative to exercise character traits that are studied and to seek out constructive criticism regarding character.
Emotional Goals
Students will be held accountable to confront and conquer fears and learn to express themselves using effective communication. This includes actively pursuing conflict resolution and not allowing emotions to take over. They will be encouraged to reach out for counsel and initiate time with a pastor/mentor for accountability and continued growth.
Social Goals
Students will be challenged to initiate social activities with positive peers, including consistent involvement in a weekly fellowship group. They will be encouraged to get involved in activities outside of their comfort zone such as Ballroom dance, sports, and servant hood projects. They will also be challenged to continue to develop communication skills with peers and family.
