Life Skills / Mentorship
Life Skills such as: budgeting, communication, personal appearance, personal development, etc. are all areas of learning for our students. Interns experience, first hand, the value of Life Skills as it relates to future business and career opportunities.
Leadership Development
Weekly classes provide teaching in areas such as conflict resolution, stewardship and character development. Leadership is also exemplified by role-modeling from staff members. Christ taught that leaders must first be servants and our staff members are trained to exhibit Christ-like qualities of leadership.
Technical Skills
Here at our Work Internship Program, students have the opportunity to learn a variety of technical skills. Some of the courses offered are audio/visual production, web design, graphic art design, business systems, coding and programming, lead generation, sales or customer service and more. The courses are customized to the students interest. We use an on-the-job approach coupled with visual instructional materials to impart the desired technical skills. Our goal is to discover strengths in gifting and desire in specific areas of skills development for the purpose of harnessing self-motivation.
